Beginning April 21st Google will begin ranking websites based on their mobile responsiveness (being mobile friendly for devices like tablets, cell phones & laptops ). I have had several bloggers concerned about this especially those on the Blogger Platform. To read the full details of Google’s statement please click here. Basically what Google is saying is if your site is not mobile friendly your ranking will be affected when it comes to this new change in their search algorithm.
For those of you who haven’t yet made the switch over to a responsive design for your site, now is definitely the time. If you use the Blogger Platform, my suggestion is to find a responsive template that you can install from ETSY. I have seen tons of great and affordable Responsive Blogger Templates there that range from $10-$50. Make sure to check out the shop owners reviews before purchasing from them.
