Over the past couple years I have found some great online photo editing sites that are super user friendly and for the most part (my favorite part!) FREE!!! The first one I came across a couple years ago was Picnik.com. Reason I loved this site was because of the ability to quickly enhance or edit my photos and to create cute templates, headers and scrapbook designs. The really sad news is that Picnik.com is not going to be around any more. They’re photo editing capabilities however will now be available on Google plus. Picnik’s last day will be on April 19, 2012.
The cool thing is before Picnik.com closes they are making all their cool features including their Premium features available to everyone for free till April 19th. How awesome is that! Check them out for fun I know you’ll love them!
So some people have asked me what other online photo editing places I can recommend. A great one is Pixlr.com which has a variety of photo editing capabilities. If you go to pixlr you can experiment with your pics! BTW… you can also add text now! Here’s some I did for fun- you can see the before and after:
Here are the effects I used: Lucas for my EFFECT, Rainbow for my OVERLAY and White for my FRAME.

Now the last picture I have to say I prefer my picture that’s unedited…I love the color. The second one is a more rugged worn look that is fun and different.
